What is Autism?
Definition: A mental condition, characterized by difficulty in speaking and forming relationships with other people.
There is a difficulty in language and understanding abstract concepts, such as emotions.

If a child has one or more of the following symptoms,it is possible that the child has autism
- no babbling or pointing by age 1
- no words said until 16 months old and no phrases said until after 2 years
- no response to their name
- loss of language or social skills
- poor eye contact
- excessive lining up of toys or objects
- no smiling or social responsiveness.
